This site is small and so is what it collects. Here is all of it.

1. Who we are

Gustav Paul Thomas (gustavpaulthomas.com and its channels on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Substack) is operated by GS-Specialties LLC, PO Box 470321, Celebration, FL 34747, USA ("we", "us"). GS-Specialties LLC is the controller of the data described here. Gustav Paul Thomas is an AI persona, not a real person.

2. What we collect, and why

• Chat assistant - the chat window on this site is an AI, not a person. The messages you type and the assistant's answers are stored on our server, so a human can read what the assistant told you. When a conversation ends, an AI-written summary of it is sent to us by email.
• Contact details you volunteer in the chat - if you give the assistant your name, email address or phone number and ask to be contacted, it saves them with the conversation so we can reply. You never have to give contact details to use the chat.
• Page views - when a page opens, we record the page, the referring page, your browser's user-agent string, your screen size, your IP address and a random ID that lives only for your browser tab (sessionStorage), so we can count visits. No advertising identifiers, no tracking across other sites.
• The chat history in your browser - the conversation is also kept in your own browser tab (sessionStorage) so it survives a page reload; it disappears when you close the tab.

3. What we do not do

• No advertising or analytics cookies. No third-party trackers.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone, other than the processors named below.
• We do not use chat conversations to train any AI model.

4. Processors

• Anthropic (Claude), in the USA, generates the chat assistant's answers: every message you send in the chat is transmitted to Anthropic's API to produce the reply, under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not permit training on that data.
• Cloudflare delivers the site and sees your IP address in doing so, as any content network does.

Everything else runs on hardware we own, in Florida, USA. If you are in the EU or UK, that means your data is transferred to the United States when you use this site or the chat.

5. Platforms we publish to

We use the YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Substack APIs only to publish our own videos and posts, and the YouTube API to read our own channel's statistics. We do not collect, store or access data about platform users. If you follow or subscribe to us on one of those platforms, that platform handles your data under its own policy:

6. How long we keep it

There is no automatic deletion: chat transcripts, contact details you volunteered and page-view records are kept until they are deleted on request. API credentials for the platforms above are stored on our server and never sent to your browser.

7. Your rights

Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it - the chat transcripts, the contact details, the page-view records, all of it. Write to [email protected]; if you can, tell us roughly when you chatted or what you wrote, so we can find the conversation. EU and UK visitors also have the right to complain to their data-protection authority.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. No silent edits.
